Honoring the Memory of Commissioner Linford Gayle of San Mateo County ~ MHSOAC ~ July 26 at 9 a.m.

The Commission will recognize the work and contributions of the late
Commissioner Emeritus Linford Gayle who passed away April 4, 2018. “

Held during the MHSOAC monthly meeting at:

“The Mental Health Services Oversight and Accountability Commission is honoring Linford Gayle, who passed away in April 2018. Linford was a San Mateo County, California, and National hero in the consumer/survivor movement. Linford was one of the first two consumers appointed to the MHSOAC and became its Chair. He also was a founding member of the California Association of Mental Health Peer Run Organizations, and served as its Vice Chair. His modeling of recovery inspired and gave hope to thousands of consumers. Many of his friends and colleageues will be at the Commission to honor him and speak at the public comment time.
