Peer Action League of California (PALThe California Association of Mental Health Peer Run Organizations (CAMHPRO) is proud to create the Peer Action League of California (PAL). PAL will be advisory to and the action arm of CAMHPRO. PAL is supported by the Statewide Consumer Network Grant under the United States Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSAthat spans from April 1, 2019 to March 30, 2022.

      • Webinars to Optimize Peer Run Agency Program Infrastructure & Sustainability-Quarterly.
      • Regional Policy Forums- 4 per year, culminating with a statewide Conference in Year 3.
      • Advocacy webinar series for effective peer stakeholder voices.
      • Continued monthly peer webinars on Peer Best Practices, Standardization & PS4PS.
      • Empower peers throughout the State to serve on key State-level policy bodies.
      • 3 PAL Action Committees meet online: Peer Workforce, Cultural Racial & Ethnic Equity, & Public Policy.
      • PAL Members (PALMs) quarterly meetings online to share progress and outcomes from Action Committees, and to plan collective next steps.

CAMHPRO is looking for diverse peers interested in becoming ACTIVE in promoting behavioral health services that are multi-cultural, peer-driven, recovery, resilience and wellness-based.

Application for Peer Run Organization or Peer Program: To complete this application you should have approval from your Executive Director. This is a wonderful opportunity for your program or organization to be part of the Peer Action League (PAL) that could increase your program’s sustainability and growth, focusing some of your program/agency efforts on State policies, that will contribute to changing the lives of many thousands of Californians with better, peer-driven behavioral health services.
