Certified Peer Support Specialists - Communications Intern

Job Description:

Summary: this position will support CAMHPROs external communications strategies among other responsibilities. Success in this role will require an individual that is highly creative, self-motivating, collaborative, and a team player willing to help where he/she/they is needed. The right candidate will excel working from a remote setting and will have experience working with diverse communities.

This is a new position and we will be making it up together. Primary Duties may include:

  • Collaboratively create social media content.
  • Design one-pagers, infographics, event announcements, and other material as needed.
  • Update website as needed.
  • Assist in day-to-day functions, including data management.
  • Participate in internal and external conference calls and webinars to observe and better understand the organization’s work.
  • Put your peer support specialist skills to work in a bi-monthly conference call to support individuals prepare for their Peer support specialist exam.
  • Assist with special events and projects.
  • Perform various other tasks as directed.

Generally you can set their own hours which can include weekends; 5 to 8 hours a week (Negotiable) $25 dollars an hour. 6 month position (Negotiable).
